With the Labor Day Weekend Upon Us, Keep a few things in mind:

This weekend pays tribute to the contribution and achievements of the American Workers.
This holiday is traditionally observed on the 1st Monday in September
“Labor day was recognized by the labor activists and individual states.”
New York was the first state to introduce a bill to make it a holiday, but Oregon was the first to pass a law recognizing Labor Day but it was in February
When did it become a Monday Holiday in September
By 1894, just about all the states in the United States had adopted the holiday and on June 28,1894, Congress passed an act making the first Monday in September of each year a legal holiday each year.
Please be careful! This is a holiday that recognizes all the hard working Americans and all they do to keep our country running. Everyone can have fun and bbq and boat and whatever you do to enjoy this weekend, just watch out for others and everyone respect each others fun. Don't DRINK AND DRIVE!!!! Everyone has a different idea of fun! Have fun and enjoy the weekend and we will see you at the picnic in September.
